This rapid growth demonstrates its ability to fulfill a fundamental human need: real connection. Today, the app has been downloaded over 630 million times, leading to over 97 billion matches, serving approximately 50 million users per month in 190 countries and 45+ languages - a scale unmatched by any other app in the category. In 2024, Tinder won four Effie Awards for its first-ever global brand campaign, “It Starts with a Swipe”™

The Role:

The Team or Role

We’re looking for an Engagement Lifecycle Manager to own the operations and strategy for Tinder’s user-facing notification program. You will be working closely with other product teams to ensure their features are highlighted and communicated through our engagement channels (email, push notification, SMS, in-app) to help increase visibility and adoption. This position also plays a strategic role in ensuring that we support Tinder members throughout the various phases of their lifecycle while on Tinder. Being able to quickly AB test and iterate on campaigns as well as communicate those results and next steps to other teams are important skills needed to flourish with the engagement team.

You’ll be joining the Engagement team, which owns all user-facing notifications at Tinder. Our mission is to deliver the right message to the right user at the right time- driving real dating outcomes. We support a homegrown CRM platform, own lifecycle notification development, and oversee operations to send billions of notifications globally each quarter. Through advanced targeting and bold experimentation, we drive feature adoption, retention, and meaningful engagement. We move fast, learn constantly, and scale with purpose.

Where you’ll work:

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week from our Los Angeles office.

In this role you will:

  • Be the problem-solver first in line to help keep everything on track and drive the project from conception through execution, keeping all teams up to date on progress.
  • Be a crucial member to the team in ensuring campaigns are set up and deployed correctly to help to increase engagement and reduce churn.
  • Coordinate with internal partners (marketing / product managers / engineering) to ensure timely planning, creation, and deployment of all campaigns
  • Own day-to-day communication and project coordination with internal clients
  • Supervise Engagement dashboards and report findings with the team
  • Execute and report results of A/B and multivariate tests
  • Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and reducing execution complexity
  • Support product managers in managing expectations for project results, handling partner communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project management

We're looking for:

  • 2+ years of engagement experience (preferably with list sizes 150,000+)
  • Eye for detail to ensure campaigns and projects are up to specifications and out on time
  • Proven understanding of the app space and able to collaborate with business, design, engineering and product management
  • Experience with enterprise level Engagement platform (Iterable, Braze, Customer.io)
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR and opt- in and opt-out practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively with other departments
  • Solid understanding of JSON, HTML, and SQL
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and keep up with a large volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for collaboration and working in a team environment

As a full-time employee, you’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible Vacation, 10 Sick Days
  • Time off to volunteer and charitable donations matched up to $15,000 annually
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage
  • 100% 401(k) employer match up to 10%, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
