I made friendships I'm still in touch with today.
I was part of a cohort of more than 50, and the highlight was the intern hackathon: brainstorming and building solutions to real Tinder problems. What makes the program unique is its focus on community. My advice: say yes to things that push you outside your comfort zone. I almost skipped the hackathon, and I'm so glad I didn't.
I'd never done a hackathon, but I dove in head first.
I loved the fun, competitive environment and seeing how all our skills came together. What makes the program unique is the autonomy: I got to shape what my internship looked like. My advice: ask lots of questions and find where your strengths lie. Turn them into superpowers and your confidence grows exponentially.

What makes the program unique is the scope of work interns take on. In my last month, I worked on the Tinder Plus weekly subscription on iOS individually, with help from my manager and mentor, touching core payment and SKU management systems. The project was successful and expanded to Gold and Platinum after my internship concluded.
