What was the best part of your Tindership experience?

Even though my internship was remote, I could still form friendships and communicate with others as my authentic self. I still talk to the people from my intern class.

What’s different about a Tindership?

I could pick the projects I wanted to work on and ultimately own them. Also, because Tinder is a smaller company, I felt like my work and opinions were heard.

Where are you now?

I am currently an IC2 on the Monitoring, Incident, Threat, and Response team, where I own and manage a variety of tools and projects.

What’s different about a Tindership position?

I thought I would be shadowing the majority of the internship, but I was so fortunate to be given real projects to work on from design to implementation. I genuinely felt the support and connection from my manager, team, and others I met along the way.

What did you learn?

Change is the only constant—and it matters how you react to it. It’s important to be flexible and open. I take these moments as opportunities to develop my skills and adapt.
