Our Mission:

Launched in 2012, Tinder® revolutionized how people meet, growing from 1 match to one billion matches in just two years. This rapid growth demonstrates its ability to fulfill a fundamental human need: real connection. Today, the app has been downloaded over 630 million times, leading to over 97 billion matches, serving approximately 50 million users per month in 190 countries and 45+ languages - a scale unmatched by any other app in the category. In 2024, Tinder won four Effie Awards for its first-ever global brand campaign, “It Starts with a Swipe”™

The Role:

Know where you belong!

Match Group is a leading provider of dating products across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Hinge, Match-Meetic, PlentyOfFish, Okcupid, The League, Archer, Salams and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our products - it’s the foundation of every team we hire.

When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our office 3 days/week.

Match Group is seeking a snr. Social Media leader to further develop the overall social media and integrated Marketing strategy for Tinder in the region, sitting at the core of the paid, owned and earned media cycle. This role will be the main point of contact for the US global leadership as well.

The position can be based in the Dublin (preferred) or London or Paris (alternatively) office.

The role will report to the VP Marketing EMEA based in Dublin and working with all Country Heads (UK, DE, FR, ES, IT) and the other regional functional peers (Paid Media, Brand Partnerships).

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role includes identifying and prioritizing all editorial, creative and influencer strategy, building a cohesive brand and planning on all platforms and all markets from a regional and countries’ perspective, especially with an organic focus - owned and earned media. This role will be also the main point of contact for external regional partners (eg. Tik Tok, Meta, Google) when it comes to editorial efforts. This role will help to scale up and optimize all markets’ efforts to avoid acting in silos, building a cohesive social Brand in the region while enhancing local countries’ cultural nuances and growing efficiencies and impact.
  • This role will secure that all integrated social media initiatives (eg. campaigns, activations, stunts, etc.) will be social by design within an overarching influencers and talent management strategy for the region (in all verticals: music, fashion, sports, entertainment) to scale up initiatives across multiple territories and unlock unprecedented regional opportunities for the Brand. In a world where Gen Z. is living their lives through social, Social Media is playing at the intersection of Marketing and Comms. to be a relevant part of the zeitgeist/conversations. In this sense, this role will provide social media leadership and set up standards of excellence for Marketing and Integrated Marcomms roles, providing regional guidance in a matrix organization.
  • This role will be in charge of any innovation/test in terms of social media and integrated marcomms with or without product features/launches. This role will also redefine any operation/cross-functional way of working and framework, including with Legal.
  • A key collaboration for this role will be with the above-mentioned Integrated Marcomms roles in each country, in order to help redefine the way we are working as Mktg. organization when it comes to Influencers, PR and Events.
  • While the main goal for the EMEA Mktg Team is to grow members’ acquisition/TOFU, success for this role will be defined by the growth of our social media channels both in terms of volume and engagement/sentiment and, ultimately, WOM.

Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years at senior level with an EMEA regional scope for a Global Brand, preferably in the direct to consumer tech industry, with a specific focus on social media innovation and marketing communications with a clear history of success/best practices - from a creative and business perspective.. In agencies and/or in major global media platforms experience is optional.
  • Be a business strategic and creative thinker, an inspiring leader, a team player able to influence and positively challenge other functions/peers in a matrix organisation, and an excellent writer/communicator.
  • Have substantial experience dealing with senior executives and ability to make strategic and succinct presentations to leadership.
  • Proficiency in English (a second european language between French, German, Italian and/or Spanish a plus)

Salary Range:

-
$140,000
a year

Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
